Sorry?! Did they fire and reprimand the abusive employees?
They were NOT FORMER employees at the time they took these actions. They were only fired because THEY GOT CAUGHT.
What were the comments that made them collectively lose their minds? I noticed that detail just happens to be missing.
Whatever it was, they must have struck a nerve, thus the hysterical, sicko pushback.
I tend to think it was more than they didn’t like the font styles or page layouts used on the company website.
If somebody told me this had happened to them, would find it hard to believe, but apparently it did happen.
That’s a sure-fire way to disappear forever in my neighborhood.
The CEO encouraged and approved of this through policy that was audited each year.
I bid $10 for the movie rights to this story. /sarc
That is insane.
So you want to get to the bottom of this? Alright. Here’s some retro FReeper work. Read all of the following quoted from the article.

[Excerpt:]
“Wenig, a former Reuters CEO, joined eBay in 2011 and had held the top job since July 2015...During his tenure as chief executive, Wenig spearheaded efforts to modernize eBay and court younger shoppers, including a site redesign and the implementation of artificial intelligence for shopper insights...On Twitter, Wenig praised eBay as a pioneer of responsible big tech.
EBay is an example of why we shouldnt give up on big tech companies, he tweeted. It stands for economic democracy, and has a culture and community that are examples of how technology can enable, empower and bring us together. I will always, always be in eBays corner.”
Sounds like 12 year old boys running the company.
