June 15 (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday handed President Donald Trump a defeat in his legal showdown with the most-populous U.S. state, declining to hear his administration's challenge to "sanctuary" laws in California that protect immigrants from deportation.

Let me guess: Judge Roberts sided with the lefties.
Again.
So states can ignore immigration laws in favor of their own. Good deal
Well, okay, it is high time for various states to declare their states sanctuary states for the unborn.
The sanctuary states were heretofore in violation of Federal immigration laws.
So, what prevents any state now from declaring Federal laws null and void?
States can set federal immigration laws now?
The President should cite precedent from his immediate predecessor, and govern by executive fiat - and tell the Media why.
All news is bad news.
Damn him. Let us hear the details.
By the way, what happened to AZ when Obama told that state that it could not enforce the national immigration laws?
The hidden agenda in these types of civil rights declarations for specific groups is that they require a positive application of the law to prove compliance. It is not to make everyone equal, it requires that you have to prove equality, and that is accomplished by discriminating against the group not listed in the law.
AZ got smacked down for enforcing Federal law and CA is allowed to violate it. Just sickening.
John Roberts, who swore in an ineligible usurper as President, again does the usurper’s bidding.
Let me get this straight, a state cannot enforce state laws against illegal aliens that mirror federal laws because immigration is a federal issue but they can have laws that seek to negate federal laws on immigration because ? How does that work?
Yep. All roads lead back to the bipartisan nature of this ongoing coup against POTUS.
Wait, What?
24 years ago in California the citizens held an election and VOTED to refuse to give their money to illegal aliens.
One “federal” judge told us we couldn’t do that, because “only the federal government can make an immigration law”.
Prop 187 was thrown out by “Judge” Mariana Pfaelzer and never appealed to the Supreme Court by the crooked Gray Davis, who was then de-governerized for his malfeasance.
But now it’s OK? The States can selectively ignore federal laws they don’t like when it comes to immigration?
Well Goody then. Arizona can re-instate SB1070 and let the party begin. Party’s on!
A RED State like Texas should immediately pass Deportation Anti-Sanctuary laws and start dumping illegals over the border. The precedent is set. SCOTUS wont do a thing. Good deal.
The laws of this country begin to feel like “whatever”.
Between homosexual marriage, marijuana, and immigration law enforcement, I can’t figure out when the states can call their own shots, when the federal government has to follow the lead of the states or when the states have to follow the laws of the federal government. It all seems to “depend”.
Only if their laws support open borders, ask Arizona ...
Trump should just do what he wants since there is no rule of law anymore.
