What happened to that lady could have happened to any one of us. After all, when you hear your front door come crashing in, would you first think to lie prone on the floor with your arms extended? I wouldn’t.

So yes, this is a good move by Paul. But it’s important to note that his bill would apply to federal officers only.

Yeah, but that federal law would establish the standard against which execution of all warrants would be judged in the future, particularly in a civil suit alleging a civil rights violation.

It applies to any agency that receives federal funds.

That would be most of them.
