One of the NFL’s most vocal players on issues of racial justice and police brutality isn’t ready to accept that the NFL is sincere about supporting the causes most important to him and his fellow players.
Michael Bennett, who is currently a free agent but has been in the NFL for more than a decade with the Seahawks, Buccaneers, Eagles, Patriots and Cowboys, told TheDailyBeast.com that the NFL is still a league run by several owners who have given significant money to Donald Trump, and if those owners are continuing to support Trump he doesn’t believe the league is sincere.
“If you’re supporting him, then your letter is really null and void,” Bennett said.

When you are issuing a warning to your potential employers about contributing money to the President of United States, I think you are acting "above your pay grade"...
Maybe some reporter should ask the head of NFL players' union..."Are players willing to go on a strike to force owners to stop contributing to President's campaign?"

It’s not Trump they have to worry about. It’s losing American patriots who love America and respect the flag who are going to be a problem for them. We simply won’t watch. We’ve learned to live without sports for almost four months. People have learned to make better use of their time.
Screw the NFL.
When I watch a performance of any kind, whether it is a singer or a movie or a sporting event, I want it to have nothing to do with politics.
I shut out those who want to turn entertainment into a political event.
I gave up on the Negro Felon League a few years ago. Doesn’t look like I’ll be going back any time soon.
Does Michael Bennett specify which part of President Trump's agenda he is unhappy with?
Is it the record low black unemployment?
Is it the record high black employment?
Is it the record high black home ownership?
Is it the prison reform that resulted in the release of many black prisoners?
I'm sure there are other examples of black lives getting better under President Trump but those are the ones that come immediately to mind.

I expect most if not all, including the coaches, to take a knee if and when they start playing. The NFL has been dead to me the moment they tolerated the first one.
All my guys have slacked off the games over the past couple of years, but now, they have decided to can any interest.
It’s not a game anymore, but a never ending political commercial staring overpaid, fatuously annoying celebrutards.
A few knuckleheads kneeling irritates football fans. That was when kneeling was allowed. Kneeling will now be mandatory. I wonder how many fans will abandon the game when the entire team kneels against cops.
It seems like every 4 or 5 months this business finds a new way to piss off its customers.
With previous years of kneeling and now the lockdown lots of people have found more traditional pass times or more modern ones (gaming) that are more fun and satisfying than watching sports.
NFL Sunday is about to become a liberal virtual signal experience, back ground noise.
I don't know if these prima donna's are ready for half the nation despising them right at the same time where they don't have police as security - no they going to need something more along the lines of black water. In fact the police are going to probably going to do there best to cause them problems.
NFL football players don't realize they have crossed over from being celebrity athletes into being political mouth pieces - I doubt they are ready for what comes next.

Big money media and business has too much invested to not let this sh?t show continue. So it will go on. The owners have condoned bad criminal behavior for years till they lost some fans. Then they glossed it over to appease some. Until that happens here the show will go on BUT if enough people say enough then there will be a change. Unfortunately that is not going to happen soon IMO. Yesterday for instance I almost put on the PGA before I recalled the ceremonial George felon Er Floyd memorial tee off time. So I did not and went out and bought a book to read instead. No one was in the book store.
