Unfortunately, this could be true. What self-respecting person wants to apply for a job as a cop in a city where the entire force is denigrated as a group.
One of the cops in the George Floyd case was a 37 year old rookie who had a few scrapes with the law on his record. That kind of guy hardly seems like anything close to an ideal candidate for a police officer.
