Dear cops: Please don’t quit the jurisdictions that support you, but flee places like Atlanta as if you were being pursued by zombie hoards.

In my county the cops are experiencing a Blue Flu.The sheriff has cut back patrol numbers. First it was COVID excuses, but now I think they support ANTIFA/BLM.

That’s right. Before the 1st professional PD was started in NYC in 1842, law enforcement was vigilante style. With today’s weapons, it would be very disadvantaged for the minorities. We would regress back to 1842 overnight. Forget the rule of law, it will be who can form militias and NSD zones to protect our neighborhoods. Anyone not choosing to signup wii be banished or their homes burned down. Who are you going to call? The cops?

Without police, ANTIFA & BLM will create more of their zones.

This is not unlike another Obama-created group, ISIS.

People will leave those zones alone rather than go fight for them....because they will be too busy protecting their own properties.

As the zones grow, they will connect.

It seems like only a civil war will end this.

Officers need to take their expensive training from the big cities and then move to suburbs and cities where there is support and respect for their jobs. Let the Deep Cities scramble to find enough cops to protect them.

Hiring experienced cops saves a department the expense of academy training

Seattle/Portland Summer?

Courtesy of the same social media giants that conceived and fostered Arab Spring?

Fall comes right after...

Especially if Trump loses, as he is on track to, this November.

I imagine that’s the way it will go down. Cops quitting en masse will be a macro phenomenon but, unless his/her department is abolished/defunded, each cop who quits will have made an individual decision to do so. And that decision will be based on whether the job is worth it at the pay received. Oakland PD, for example, has long had a high attrition rate, with cops deciding that dealing the high criminality among certain segments of the city’s population just ain’t worth for what they get paid. You’ll likely see a lot more of that nationwide. And, sadly, the cities and neighborhoods that need cops the most will lose them the first.

Yep - but down on the MS Gulf Coast, I walked into my favorite coffee shop (owned by a Christian/Conservative couple) and found a table surrounded by extra chairs an including a local Sheriff. Conversation revolved around protests/anarchists/2nd Amendment (The Sheriff and I were the only two [in front of the counter] that were armed) and got really lively when it turned to Stevie Ray Vaughn and other primo guitarists - the Sheriff was encyclopedic in his knowledge and love of the greats.

Some of us "backwards/racists folks consider Sheriffs and others our friends and vital parts of the community...if they ended up under siege, a ton of us would come to their aid and they know, and appreciate, it.

As police morale fades, the quality of those willing to take the job will degrade. We’ll likely see more George Floyd incidents rather than fewer.

Unfortunately, this could be true. What self-respecting person wants to apply for a job as a cop in a city where the entire force is denigrated as a group.

I was thinking we should go all in for Lesbian Only Police Departments, then the Lesbian Police Chief from Atlanta quit last night without a whimper.

I thought those Lesbian Chicks were tougher.

Maybe if she were a Black Lesbian...

I wouldn’t blame them one bit if they all walked off the job. They are caught in a no win situation at increasing personal danger

Just like the Arab Spring in Egypt did not succeed in keeping the Muslim Brotherhood in power, it took the toppling of Quaddafi and destabilization of Syria to bring about ISIS and the invasion of Europe.

The muslims in the EU will either join ANTIFA or create their own "injustice" group that will do the same occupations and disruptions to existing gov't systems.
