None of our five carrier groups has F-35C. I believe the only one is in the Atlantic USS Washington
If I was Xi, I would attack. America is too distracted to act quickly. What ever he does, he should do it quickly. Must take total control in two weeks. Seize control of the air, fly in the troops. Use spies, nuke threats to keep back Japan and Korea. Be ready to fight US if they try to do anything but your Democrat Allies to keep Trump at bay. New Rumors of Chinese/Trump corruption would keep him busy. Media would black out the horror—Need an army of 1 million to seize the island Taiwan. But, if it is bogged down, If free Chinese resist the move it all goes south. If they sink a US Carrier they risk a greater war—in that case—need a plan B—Must brand it “Trump’s War.” Blame him if at all possible.Get North Korea to help with attacks on DMZ—Theaths to Guam etc...
USS Carl Vinson which has the F-35C would be the primary target. I wouldn’t doubt for a moment one of these traitors giving away it’s position or worse sabotage

Taiwan needs a nuke.Sadly,I doubt that the US...or anyone else...would come to Taiwan’s aid if they were invaded.
I think it’s just saber rattling. An attack is rolling the dice. There would be high casualties on both sides. PRC citizens might revolt. China would probably become a pariah state and be subject to an economic blockade. An actual invasion is too big of a gamble.
The minute the PRC makes invasion moves on Taiwan , 1st strike Beijing with multiple nukes . Let it begin. PRC needs to be wiped out as a functioning nation on this planet
USS Reagan is/has been deployed in Japan for a while. the Roosevelt is around Guam. the third is a LHA-6, which isn’t a carrier, unless you include helicopters.
Its economy is deteriorating. Historically when that has happened, a major war begins.
You maybe right even so I hope it never will materialize. All I can say is that we live in very interesting times.
The Truman is a east coast ship. there are 2 carriers within strike distance of China. The Reagan and the Roosevelt. The LHA is a helo carrier, which travels half the speed and no fighter protection, so it doesn’t count. If they move the Truman to the Arabian sea, then I’d be concerned. I doubt they will move the Nimitz much farther than Hawaii leaving the west coast without a carrier....but with this transgender military leaders...who knows.

there is 3 carriers deployed in the pacific area. 1 in Arabia and 2 on the east coast. The rest are being maintained/refueled/ or refitted.
who knows where the subs are, and which ones. 2 carriers is a lot and they won’t be parked next to each other in a possible confrontation. Depending on what aircraft they deploy, determines the distance from the conflict.
Unfortunately for us, this is not only true of China...
