Harold Thomas of Indian Hill, Ohio, said he has donated millions to services in his community and recently added hundreds of thousands more to local police departments.
The 87-year-old retired businessman told the Cincinnati Enquirer that he has donated tens of millions of dollars to local hospitals, colleges, municipal public-safety departments, and others because charity begins at home. To that end, he has recently boosted police funding in the nearby cities of Indian Hill, Madeira, and Montgomery by a cool $250,000 each.
My reason was I knew Indian Hill needed new state-of-the-art radio equipment for each of their officers to be more efficient when on patrol, Thomas said. I also learned they needed other items but did not have the funds to purchase them.

So cool...
You are welcome!
Well then let me thank you.
I don’t have much money right now, but I think it’s a great
idea to support local law enforcement like this.
Support your local sheriff.
Ping
Great movie. So was Support Youre Local Gunfighter.
I miss good movies being produced.
However, I broke down and saw Shazam last night with the spouse.
It was rather good.
Better than I expected.
Uh-oh, he will get death threats for sure. The country has gone nuts.
I live in the same community as Mr Thomas (as did Neil Armstrong, Carl Lindner, band members of The National, and for a time, Peter Frampton).
My son was a Boy Scout and was at The Village of Indian Hill city council meeting where it was announced that he would give $10 million to build two new fire stations here and in the next community over.
He patted my son on the head in the reception line after the announcement.
It is amazing the amount of money he has given for local causes.
A wonderful man.
I agree. Once in a while they accidentally put something out
worth watching.
This stuff being put out by Netflix, a lot of it isn’t worth
horse stuff.
Other things aren’t so bad.
A lot of the shows these days seem as if written by a 13 year
old. The ideals and lack of maturity are just childish.
It’s as if they toss it in just to see how far the parents
will let them go.
yes, very few things worth watching put out today
the very few that are aren’t worth enduring the modern moviegoing “experience” because people cannot respect others anymore
so i dont see any of them
I highly recommend the Asia dramas. They seem to still know
right from wrong, and even though there is machismo, the
women are not exploited in the telling of the story.
There isn’t explicit violence, or it’s very tame.
There is closed captioning, and that may put folks off, but
some of those shows are very nice.
Thanks Mr. Thomas for being a good American!!
OHIO PING!
Please let me know if you want on or off the Ohio Ping list.
