The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned that widespread lockdowns may be needed again if coronavirus cases continue to increase.
"If cases begin to go up again, and particularly if they go up dramatically, it’s important to recognize that more extensive mitigation efforts such as what were implemented back in March may be needed again," Dr. Jay Butler, the CDC’s COVID-19 incident manager, told reporters on a conference call Friday.

That’s because it’s, once again, a blue city in a blue state and there’s still this thing called sovereignity.
Trump can’t call up the national guard without the governor’s OK which means Trump’s only option is federal police and armed forces.
He makes a move and we have a hot war on our hands. (Not that I’d be against it - but it’ll be bloody and painful and destructive)
The Democrats want to have their LARP revolution and while it does look bad - it’s only affecting blue states and to a lesser extent blue cities in blue states.
The question is, when the public votes against them in this election, will THEY stand down?

May I propose some rules for the new lockdown? I think that these rules would make the lockdown more ... aah, effective.
(1) All left-wing political activity involving rioting, looting, stealing, arson, car-torching, property destruction, burglary, assault, illicit substances, interference with police, blocking highways, or other felony is banned. Anyone suspected of violating this ban shall go to jail for a one-year quarantine period or until the legal resolution of the case before eligibility for bail.
(2) Any left-wing political activity not banned is limited to a maximum of nine persons with strict social distancing and heavy local regulation. Any such persons shall not use, possess, or distribute any illicit drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or marijuana or engage in such activity while under the influence of same. Trump rallies are not left-wing and therefore excluded from the nine-person limit.
(3) All persons are highly encouraged to adhere to religious communities, to worship on every Sunday or some other day of the week as appropriate (Saturday for Jews), to meet on other days of the week, to join in large religious processions, and to partake in catechetical activities.
(4) The following activities are considered nonessential and must terminate: pornographers (even websites), prostitution, entertainment inappropriate for families, alcohol and liquor sales, marijuana dispensaries, abortion, contraception, Planned Parenthood, Communist party offices, indoctrination centers, fake-news outlets, and left-wing media businesses.
(5) Persons should try to avoid large gatherings, especially indoors or under air conditioning, but this restriction shall not apply to religious assemblies or Trump rallies.
(6) Most other sectors of the economy should operate normally or with special precautions not intended to shutter honorable businesses.
Where are the increases? Big increases in Alabama were in Montgomery, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, and I don’t know where else. I’d like to know about other places like Minneapolis and DC and metroplex.
What if people in the blue states and cities are too scared to show up on Election Day? And who is to say who will actually be counting the votes, and who's going to go in if the results are highly questionable?
