So? How does your lapsing have anything to do with anything?
Let us know when you have something worth bragging about.
I an the son of a rector and an ordained mother. It brakes my heart to see where the church has gone. I can not feel comfortable in the sanctuary that I watched build up from a pile of bricks to my home church. I was an acolyte and confirmed member of a body oy Christ that some how went off the rails. Politics is not my way of life but it has become the word from the pulpit.

“I have no use for organized religion (though I do believe in God).”
A great many share that position.
There is faith and spirituality, then there is religion — something one believes in and follows devotedly; a point or matter of ethics or conscience.
Progressivism is a religion, gay advocacy is a religion, feminism is a religion, sports fanaticism is a religion, green is a religion, TDS is a religion, veganism is a religion and now, white guilt is becoming a religion.
All religions, all nothing to do with God.
Christian religions have widely varying perspectives on God and Scripture, as evidenced by Catholic - Protestant wars and never-ending doctrinal battles between Protestant denominations..
