Band-Aid launching racially diverse bandages

After years of petitions, Band-Aid will now launch a new line of bandages in a range of different skin tone colors from beige to dark brown to embrace the beauty of diverse skin, the firm announced Thursday.
The bandage brand, which is owned by Johnson & Johnson, said it plans to roll out the new product in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement

That looks like makeup (foundation, powder) and is probably just as expensive to make. Why not wear a clear bandage, or one with a cartoon character on it?

This is actually not a bad idea. Younger (and vainer) people would probably want a band-aid that matches their skin color. So why not? Im actually surprised that this has not already been done.
Of course Johnson & Johnson cant just make a simple announcement about a new product. Theyve got to throw in diversity nonsense. But I guess thats to be expected these days.
