Two of Canada’s biggest telecommunications companies, Bell Canada and Telus Mobility have excluded Huawei from their 5G network partners. Bell Canada and Telus Mobility decisions were made due to Huawei’s intelligence-gathering activities in countries around the world. Huawei, a Chinese company–which has close ties with the CCP–has posed too big of a threat to Canada.
