most people know what’s going on with this situation they would applaud the Senate from adopting bad reforms. DOJ does not need Congress and is working on implementing reforms. The choke hold is looked at being banned except for cases where lethal force is involved.

they had both houses for 2 years they could have done whatever they wanted to do,

Paul Rino Ryan bears a lot of responsibility for that... He of the I can’t even outdebate Joey B...

Probably had Mittens whispering in his ear the whole time to the tune of “ how did he get elected, and we couldn’t “

That’s odd since all the problems are in democrat run cities.

LOL - yes, you would think since democrats have failed at this looting/violence/police issue in every State they control - - AND we're succeeded in every State we control - that they would listen to our recommendations.

But no - democrats will do more of "the same" stuff that's failed every other time - - expecting a different outcome.

Or

Maybe the race card works best when the black community stays on the plantation and wallows in self-pity - NEVER moving forward...

They are going to stuff this bill the crap they wanted in the “stimulus” and dare the republicans to vote against “this important racial equality legislation”. Then use it to beat the republicans like a drum with it all the way until November.

They can’t arrest drug dealers, illegals and a host of other real criminals but they want to arrest people for how they think and feel?

Of course she cut the GOP out. Otherwise they would have found that this bill was already written before Floyd’s death, and just waiting for a suitable incident to bring the bill forward. No real, serious bill is put together this quickly.

The problem with Republicans going back to the original Me Too Republicans of FDR’s era (FDR would announce he had some plans and a Republican rival would say “me too” to indicate they had a plan as well) is that there’s no Left Wing cluster-**** too ****ed that some won’t eagerly join in with Democrats, thinking going along with Democrats is what it means to be “statesmen” or some nonsense.

"After kneeling for close to nine minutes before the cameras Monday morning, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced the Justice in Policing Bill of 2020."
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

In a way, I’m glad that GOPe were cut out of so-called Policing Bill of 2020. This is because the states have never expressly constitutionally given the feds the express power to dictate INTRAstate policing policy.

”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936. (Possible server certificate alert with older browsers.)

In other words, angry, misguided (imo) Pelosi is once again trying to exploit low-information voters on behalf of Democrats, trying to win votes with promise of unconstitutional legislation to keep desperate Dems in power.

Send "Orange Man Bad" federal and state government Democrats and RINOs home in November!

Supporting PDJT with new patriot federal and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping SARS-CoV-2 will effectively give fast-working Trump a "third term" in office imo.

I am ok with Congress eliminating federal funding for local police. The police should be funded locally. Let them pass that and then watch the Minneapolis Dems go ballistic.

It’s time to put a shame-inducing “Title” on Pelosi’s “bill”.

How about: “The Cash for Trial Lawyers / Kickbacks for Pelosi Bill”
