The real question is, why are non-land owners allowed to vote? This would weed out a lot of the stupid and incompetent.

I think it depends on how people view Jesus. To the “Christian Left”, Jesus is a teacher and, most importantly, a social justice warrior. They get hung up on the “No one comes to the Father except through me” part. (They also don’t like the morality aspect of Jesus’ teachings.) Jesus is more, much more, than a social justice warrior. He’s the savior of the world.
I think it’s because their parents were democrats and they unthinkingly treat it like a sports team. The democrats are their team, like the Phillies, or the Yankees, the Brown, or the Cardinals are their team.
It’s all “rah, rah”. Few ever stop and think about the real world affect of politics or democrat graft and corruption.

Nearly all Christians who support liberals do so because they believe that socialism is very Christian.
It’s as simple as that.
There are a lot of Christians who swear by their bible, but love the government goodies they’re promised and given by the Democrats. That’s why the vote for the RATS!

I believe Jefferson made that proposal and it was rejected. Jefferson believed in a strong agrarian society controlled by land owners.
They’re worthless Cucks and Karens, who believe Christianity means being Nice while becoming comfortably upper middle class, just like that smiley-faced guy from The Profit-Driven Church, Joker Osteen, tells them.
