HOUSTON The black man whose death has inspired a worldwide reckoning over racial injustice will be buried Tuesday in Houston, carried home in a horse-drawn carriage.

Under a blazing Texas sun, mourners wearing T-shirts with Floyd's picture or the words "I Can't Breathe" one of the other things he cried out repeatedly while pinned down by the police officer waited for hours to pay their respects.

Shouldn’t he be getting a little rank by now?
The body I mean, not the situation.
This’ll give all of the “protesters” an excuse to rob, destroy, rape and pillage all day! ~sarc off
Anyone notice that there is YET to be drawn a line between the incident and racism?
Yes a cop held a guy down with his knee. Yes the guy bring held happened to be black. Where is the racism?
It is not lkke the cop said “I am going to hurt you, negro!”
(rhetorical question, I know)
He’s being buried in the city his first arrest took place.
That’s sad.
A true American hero who showed us that even a career criminal and drug addict’s death can be used by the media to attack whitey and inflame racial divisions.
I don’t know if all this is true but I found this posted on Facebook this morning. We know that Floyd and Chauvin worked at El Nuevo rodeo club together. The club was used for trafficking of women and children brought in from Mexico. . There is speculation that it was also laundering counterfeit money. Floyd had been stealing the bills and flashing money around. Chauvin was directed to perform a hit on Floyd and during the protests, the club was burnt to the ground. The mayor of Minneapolis was involved and ordered the police to stand down and not defend the station.
I forgot to add that the evidence of all this was at the police station.
What’s with the multiple funerals?
Gee Don’t you think all the money collected some it should be given to the other lives lost because of the protest, riots, etc.
I know Sharpton wants to keep the money for himself and the RAT party.
Whats with the multiple funerals.
To keep the protesters fired up and on the streets, thus sustaining the anarchy of BLM.
Now I know what it was like after JFKs assassination
Without any proof, it is just a conspiracy theory, a particularly un-handy one, with one of the key people who would have been involved still alive and breathing with a lot to lose if he kept his mouth shut about it.
Occam’s Razor indicates the most likely explanation is that they knew and disliked each other. I don’t doubt that the cop working part time for money thought the drug addict working part time for money was an untrustworthy dirtball, at least more of an untrustworthy dirtball than he was.
Open that thing up and prove that he’s in there. Why a tiny small closed casket when the body was not mutilated? That casket is way too small for a man that big.
Think Wellstone Memorial.
“””Hes being buried in the city his first arrest took place.”
They had to have services in the other cities where he spent time in prison before bringing him to Houston where he also spent time in prison.
Will they bury him in the prison yard?
Think Wellstone Memorial.

This whole charade makes the Wellstone funeral look austere by comparison.
The Houston Chronicle had an article a few days back that gave some backround on Floyd. It was a biased piece, but provided some interesting info. Of all the places to bury him, Houston was one of the last places I’d’ve chosen for him.
What’s remarkable is that they never learn from previous mistakes. They just keep on making the same ones, only bigger.
There would be easier and non-public ways to get rid of George Floyd if some criminal racket wanted him gone.
