New York Times fiasco: Media bring Trump model to racial issues
Fox News ^ | June 08 2020 | Howard Kurtz

The transformation of journalism that began with the political birth of Donald Trump has exploded into a full-blown crisis with the death of George Floyd.

It is, and I don’t say this lightly, a battle for the soul of the profession. And if you take a snapshot of this moment, those who believe in the old-fashioned notions of fairness and balance are losing.

That’s why the editorial page editor of the New York Times was forced out, that’s why the editor of the Philadelphia Inquirer was forced out, and that’s why a vast swath of this country no longer trusts the media.

And people still wonder...why are newspapers dying off, and no one is reading them?

What did Donald Trump have to do with the death of George Floyd?

The murder happened in a Democrat-run city in a Democrat-run county in a Democrat-run state. The only possible connection between Donald Trump and this incident results from the absolutely predictable effort of Democrats to shift blame when they screw up to any Republican who can be found anywhere above, below, or to the side of the incident in question.

This is a result of their belief that Republicans are all bad people, and Democrats are all good people.

well they are trying to get black poeple excited about voting against Trump and voting for Biden.

Understand this, blacks did not come out in force in places like Philly and Detroit for Hillary, and she lost PA and MI.

That is what they are trying to do build enthusiasm, but not by voting FOR someone but against someone.

Tis president has done more, and accomplished more, for the black community in his 3 years in office than all of the Democrats combined. He should runs ads in every major city and hammer away at that fact. If he gets even 25% of the black vote he wins the election.

It didn’t begin with Trump. Journalism has been going in the tank for many years.

“just-the-facts reporting was now obsolete.”

The Fox News writers are themselves part of the problem, when they say things like this:

“It’s easy to understand why black journalists, who a generation ago didn’t get to run papers like the Times or anchor many television shows, are filled with anger and passion over the systemic racism that showed its ugly face with Floyd’s killing.”

“Systemic racism” is the Marxist calling card that “racism” only exists as “systemic racism”. It is not individuals that must be called out, those individuals CANNOT exist except by a “systemic racist” system; according to the Marxist academics and those they indoctrinated in our indoctrinated laboratories they call colleges.

Yet, the very idea begs the question, if the cop who bent his knee down on George Floyd is a product of “systemic racism” then what brought about the rise the black officer to the current position of the chief of police in Minneapolis?

If there is systemic guilt then there can be systemic punishment. That’s what collectivism is.

None of their thinking makes any sense. You can’t pull it apart and understand the logic of it, because there is no logic.

On 9/11, some Muslims flew planes into the World Trade Center. Was it OK to condemn all Muslims? Oh no! Can’t do that! But some white cop kneels on a guy’s neck, and suddenly all Whites are bad, all cops are bad, and the system is systemically racist.

If you ask a Marxist to actually explain their thinking, they’ll give you gobbledy-gook about the patriarchal hegemony and the praxis of interstitial trans-humanist sub-gender nullification. Which is just a way to win an argument with “Because I said so”.

“If there is systemic guilt then there can be systemic punishment. That’s what collectivism is”

Exactly.

I posed a question on that subject, on FB last week.

My post was about the killing of Mr Dorn, but my comments introducing the news report spoke to the many other deaths and total destruction of some folks livelihoods by the riots, many of which began as “protests”.

I mentioned that a mob descends into a mob mentality, no matter what some individual thinks was their own motive in joining the mob. From that, in cases like Mr Dorn, can we expect that all those in the rioting share in a collective quilt for Mr Dorn’s death, just because they were “part of the system” - the mobs, from which he died?

Of course no one took the bait and tried to answer.

Yes, in EVERYTHING the Left does there is no rock solid principal beyond their own agenda - which is the only true principal to them, so everything they say is always demonstrating their hypocrisy. To them Muslims cannot have collective guilt for what some Muslims do, because for them “Muslims” are not part of the problems of achieving their agenda, but “whites” can be told they must have collective guilt, because it is western civilization they want to destroy so they can construct their society on its ashes.

I humbly disagree. It’s about the revolution.

“I humbly disagree. It’s about the revolution.”

Their agenda IS HOW they stay focused on the “revolution”, which to them now is not a someday event, it is a constant continuous event carried out by the agenda. By their idea most people will never see the “revolution” because it will have already happened without the sheeple realizing it.

The leftist writers have crossed the line and become willing tools for the Marxist rioters. Word on the street is that these propagandists are having a hard time finding experienced and capable private security to protect them. The leftist liars are very afraid. We’re seeing increasing examples of leftist reporters being targeted and attacked.
