In a state of 10 million, there should be way more than a million voters. I just checked on michigan.gov and there are over 7.5 million registered voters.

It will be very hard to get a million plus signatures in just 60 days. They will need to get alot more than a million signatures since many people who sign aren't registered. That is really tough to do and it should be difficult because we don't want recall elections just because someone is upset over something fairly small.

They need a lot more than a million because the way they confirm is they randomly select pages and confirm if they are a registered voter and they come up with an error percentage. So, if the error percentage is 20% and they have 1.3 million signatures, then the recall will take place, but if they have 1.1 million signatures, they won't because it is estimated 20% of all signatures are ineligible.

The clock is ticking.

You have to have 25% of the number of votes in the previous governor election.

There where about 4.5 million voters cast in the 2018 election.

If she is recalled the matter moves to being a special election with her running against an opponent picked in a special primary. The term will be for two years with a regular election being held in 2022.

You are confusing recall with impeachment.
