Ellen DeGeneres just got lambasted for using “people of color.”
How is people of color any different than colored people?
Seems like a step backward.
I thought we were supposed to judge on the content of character and not on color of skin.
It’s a fun game.
“Call me a negro.”
“You’re a negro.”
“That’s racist! Call me black.”
“You’re black.”
“That’s racist! Call me a person of color.”
“You’re a person of color.”
“That’s racist! Call me black!”
And on. Reminds me of Brian Regan’s teacher:
“I before E except after C and when sounding like A as in neighbor and weigh, and on weekends and holidays and all throughout May, and YOU’LL ALWAYS BE WRONG NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY!!!!”
