This is not going to last. Soon something else will flash into the public awareness, and they’ll all turn towards the new thing and get all psychotic about it. My hope is that by November 3, they’ll be so exhausted going psycho-bat-shit-crazy about this and then that, that they won’t show up to vote altogether.
It’s what I’ve observed with overtired toddlers. First they want a banana. Then they don’t want that banana because it’s ucky with a bruise. Then they want cookie. Another tantrum. Then they throw their food on the floor. Then they want to get out of their room where you put them for behaving bad. Then they find something interesting in there, and they don’t want to come out. Etc., etc. Then they fall asleep.
I’m honestly surprised he’s not lying in state in the Capitol, Pelosi must not be able to do that unilaterally.
