Police procedural TV shows are entertaining so we watch. The progressives who run the TV industry have already decided what we can watch as casting includes all races and gender types. The plots depict liberal ways as casual sex, exploitation of minors and irresponsible behavior are dished out nightly. Maybe the left wants the settings which are usually big cities to be shown as utopias, which would be a fantasy.
The new politically correct, & only acceptable opinion is open season on all cops. Simply rooting out thug cops, even arresting them is no longer enough. Police departments must be perfect (meaning: never arrest black criminals in order to never risk screwing up) or be defunded.
Even Chris Rock is toeing the new PC line.
