Fathers are indeed important.
But the thousands of years of cultural advancement is even more important.
I come from a point of no racism. I have a grandson who is a good basketball player and since he started in the sport, he has played on an all black team... they play better and more seriously. He has traveled with that team and had black coaches. He is now in high school in a Christian school and last year he had a black coach. My grandson plays varsity from the night grade... he is usually high pointer.. and hopes for a scholarship.. this black coach would keep my grandson on the bench to keep him from scoring those points. That coach is not here this year. Ya can’t do that to kids if you are a teacher.
Yes, it goes on everywhere.... one of my sons had a good friend who was black..the man sent his daughter to a private school for a better education and his black friends/neighbors..thought he was trying to act white. they are their own worst enemy sometimes.
I come from a poor childhood .. my mother died when I was 4 and my father I didn’t want to know very much.. was raised by a grandmother who was wonderful... but everyone knew i was poor...and treated me as such. I never let it set in.. I was determined to be as good as anyone else.. as important as anyone else. I became cheerleader in school and queen one year.. that was a long time ago;. but I raised my kids to be conservatives... they have their heads on straight.. and there is no racism in the bunch...but the blacks can toss it around as much as anyone.
I live in Georgia so there are blacks all around. I have a good one for a neighbor... downtown it’s a different story...they are pretty loose and wild and no manners to speak of... and if the Abrams woman were to be elected...she’d set this state back years... democrats have no vision... they want to keep those voters safe and needy. and it’s a shame... they could be so much better if encouraged to be on the right track instead of leaning on government.
I would allow qualified black inner city kids to go to your private school with a school voucher. That beats the crap out of this whole virtue signaling article for actually helping blacks.
So much white guilt, so little time. There’s a lot of pretzel logic idiocy to unpack in this screed.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
