Joe Biden will travel to Houston on Monday to meet privately with the family of George Floyd and offer his condolences.
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee will also record a video message that will be shown at Floyd’s funeral on Tuesday, a Biden aide told the New York Times.
Biden is not expected to attend the service because there were concerns his Secret Service detail could cause a disruption.

Biden is stepping into more bad optics but his photo op with the Floyd Family will make for a good Trump 2020 commercial.
Didn’t he already have two funerals? Are they going to permanently display his mummified remains in a glass case, like Lenin’s? Maybe tour the country with the corpse?
This affair has passed from tragedy into farce with remarkable speed.
