No one talks about it, but I would imagine that the listening audience is probably 98-percent white. And if you went into the Minneapolis neighborhoods burned and asked about NPR stuff...most all of the area would ask what network is that?

That’s a perfect opportunity to strike back right now. Surround that statue in Virginia peacefully and do not let them take it. It is part of the South’s heritage. Sometimes typing and writing and speaking isn’t enough.
I’m second generation from Italy so I guess those statues should not have much meaning to me, according to some.
But they do. The South has a rich history and it’s an important part of American history and it should not be stripped away.
At the same time the South had slaves, immigrants in the north were being treated like garbage. Hypocrisy knows no bounds.
I can’t imagine a statue a portrait of anyone that doesn’t have one bad story behind it. Because everybody’s got one bad story in their life. This is ridiculous.
I would love to see patriotic Virginians stop that statue from being removed.
