But Jacobson, too, has his own history of running starkly against campus opinion, holding a generally dismissive view towards Black Lives Matter.

For instance, on his popular conservative blog Legal Insurrection, he recently wrote an article in which he blamed the rise of the BLM movement on “fraudulent narratives of the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown cases” that “concocted a false narrative of mass murder of Blacks at the hands of police, when the statistics show otherwise.”

He also claimed that the law enforcement system is being undermined by “leftist billionaires,” including George Soros.

My take on that video is that it looks like the “protestor” was trying to take a picture of the police officer’s radio on his belt, so that he could see what frequencies they were using. Reaching that closely to the officer’s gun, was sheer lunacy, especially for someone so frail. It was a justified use of force, IMHO.

There are sophisticated operators who are embedded within peaceful protestors whom they are using to camoflage their operations. This is what asymettrical war looks like. The Communists beleive they have the advantage, and are pressing for the takeover of this country. There should be seal/delta teams looking for Soros/NObama, and everyone else who are leading this revolution in this country. War has been declared, and there is no amount of meeting the protestors demands that will ever satisfy those who mean to rule us.

Cornell. Home of the Hanoi aggression and genocide deniers of Prof. George McT. Kahin and his Asian Studies group.

I know that there are some great patriotic professors at Cornell (I know some), but the university has gone so far to the left that it should be call “Lumumba University - New York State Branch”.

Free Speech is free speech no matter who speaks (unless it advocated direct violence, like so many leftist professors have).

Cornell has betrayed it duty to teach tolerance. Anything else right now is irrelevant and caving into the Marxists and Black Extremists.

The shoving was problematic but not rendering him first aid is inexcusable, esp. after the George Floyd tragedy, and I’m a conservative. PS: My son was a federal police officer who aided two men who had heart attacks. There are many good policemen, but a few rotten apples have helped to destroy a lot of public trust in them.

He was barely touched as he was impeding the officers.

Wasn't it amazing, how after being violently shoved to the ground and cracking his skull so completely that there was an instant stream of blood running into a pool of blood under his head, that...he...somehow...retained...his...grip...on...that...skimming device, I mean phone.

Still think he's legit?

I don’t think the protester was legit and the information about a skimming device is very important. However, one the jerk hit the ground with his head, the police should have checked him JUST AS A PRECAUTION if case he was really injured.
That is a policeman’s safety insurance plan. The ones in New York didn’t follow through on it and you can see the results of that.

The same for these two guys and those who came behind them.

You just don’t take a chance that the person is NOT injured, esp. with body cams.

My son once hit a guy who attacked him outside a bar/grill. He had the police check on his health because when my son hits a punk, he goes down in one punch. The cops said that he did the right thing.

Later on, my son became a federal police officer and exercised a lot of control when confronted by armed mentally ill attackers. He was a sharpshooter/anti-sniper gunner in Iraq and could drop anyone up to 1,000 yards or close in. He didn’t shoot the two mentally ill attackers though with his security level, he was authorized to shoot to kill.

Personal discipline/control is a major haulmark of a good cop. The ones in NY and Buffalo didn’t exercise good discipline or common sense. And you see the results of it. The leftist Marxists/racists and terrorists were just waiting for an excuse to organize the masses and kill police (another got killed tonight), loot, burn, and literally destroy societal controls, aided and abetted by Democrat assholes in local and state governments.

The front line does not stop that is for the arrest teams and support teams that are coming up from behind.

They were there with in 15 seconds.

Don’t buy into the media narrative.
