...it took me a while to understand - and I mean YEARS. There’s not enough critical thinking around ‘trusting the government’. They’re all to quick to suggest something is the ‘right’ way or not based on what the government is telling them.
Example - it’s almost universal that they have a ‘great NHS’, without a thought around why you may not want your government controlling health care. They just repeat “but it’s free!”. SMH.
Too bad Daily Mail uses intentionally propaganda words and has to “” what should be simple, true words, like defend themselves. How twisted they can be at Daily mail, implying defending your community is something other than simple right to do.

A report a few days ago had unnamed ex-CIA agents ‘worrying’ that there were ‘signs’ a right-wing dictatorship— similar to South American & Latin American coups in the past—was gearing up to ‘crush’ the left’s dissent. Trump accused of being the modern-day Pinochet, of course.
