In the common-language at the time of the writing of the 2nd Amendment, ‘well regulated’ meant a well-supplied and sufficiently trained militia.
It did not mean a militia controlled or directed by government authority.
Tagging four people as a "fire team" is an organizational tool. Would you prefer calling them Peppermint Sparkle Parties? Oathkeepers is military, and they go with familiar titles, based on commonly shared experiences. Every Marine who ever lived was in a fire team.

I have little faith in most elected officials. But county sheriffs - in general - seem to be the best of the bunch.
As for “fire teams”, I see your point. But perceptions matter. I’d rather not give the left even more things to smear us with. So neighborhood fire teams, no. Neighborhood watch teams, yes.
Let it burn until those cities demand the right to self protection. This is what they voted for. The left cant wait to show a bunch of white folks shooting back.
Defending myself and my property.
If we weren’t called to protect religious freedom months ago, why would i or anyone defend a city that chose to give up its guns and wait for the militant police force
Defend a city filled with beaurocrats who take away my 2A.. then you think i should go there and defend then. Not just no.
They are pretty good at defending monuments. I would keep it at that language and show the way of desire of value, going beyond that with business could dilute this group.

Well, if you pick that name you’ll be flying under the radar. And that’s a very good thing.
So true. Everyone in the burbs here in GA is gunned up. If they make the mistake of leaving the jungle ie downtown its going to be harsh.
