I think the dirty secret is outside of a handful of major urban areas the protests have been a flop. There was suppose to large protest in my mid sized town, it had be hyped for days in the news and social media. I work across the street from where it was to occur so I watched out the window. I counted 15 “protestors” and half of them looked like high school kids who just came to see if anything would happen. Cops outnumbered them about 3/1, they chanted their “Black Lives Matter” “No Justice No Peace” “I can't breath” crap for about 15 minutes then just dispersed and wandered off.

IMV, that's what the vast majority of those who fill the streets...in blue cities...are doing. Basically, they've been locked up in "quarantine" for 2+ months and they're looking for an opportunity to get outside and hangout.

The rioters, thieves and arsonists are a different story. Some opportunists, some organized criminals from [insert leftist/socialist/communist org here] that believe this is their time to hit hard because LE & the politicians have given them free rein.
