Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., was caught on a hot mic Tuesday saying he wouldnt care about not being allowed to speak at a news conference about the unrest in his Bronx district following the death of George Floyd if he wasn't in a competitive Democratic primary.
If I didnt have a primary, I wouldnt care, Engel can be heard telling Bronx President Ruben Diaz twice, as he asks for a chance to speak at a news conference with city and state officials.
Dont do that to me, Diaz responded.

Election props for Dems
What a moron. That’s what he thinks of you New Yorkers in his district. The only time he wants anything to do with you is when he’s being primaried.
None of those people will remember his name the next time they see it.
Came out a few years back that he (Engel) does not even live in his district. He lives with his wife and kids in Virginia.
Claims Virginia as his permanent residence so as to receive Homestead real estate rebate for real estate tax he pays there. His kids go to school in Virginia.
If you ask him he claims his parent’s address (which is in his district in NY). Problem there is his parents live in a small condo in an over-55 community that does not allow children.
Engel is your typical Democrat liar.
Good grief. Some people would actually need a hot mic to let them know that.
What a beautiful, succinct summary of the Democratic Party. It's absolutely perfect and should be printed on t-shirts and bumper stickers.
He is losing this seat
The opponent - another AOC?
It might be low turnout...
Around 1992 this clown dressed up as Big Bird to protest over proposed reduced funding to PBS. He’s a weapons grade moron from way back.
