Trudeau said Canadians are watching the events unfolding south of the border in 'consternation'
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took his time answering when asked to comment this morning on U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to use military force against protesters in the United States demonstrating over the death of a black man in police custody.
After a 21-second pause, Trudeau avoided criticizing the president directly while taking aim at social "injustices."
"We all watch in horror and consternation at what is going on in the United States," he said. "It is a time to pull people together ... it is a time to listen. It is a time to learn, when injustices continue despite progress over years and decades."
At no point did Trudeau mention the U.S. president by name or criticize his handling of the situation.

Personally, I think Trudeau should put on blackface again. It would be a sign of solidarity.

So far Toronto and Vancouver have had only peaceful protests—but the PM may not want to count his chickens before they hatch.
I’m married to a Canadian and worked up there for 3 years. We have relatives and friends with whom we are in regular contact.
Both of us so often say how curious it is that Canadians freely lecture us about things in the US. They seem to have this moral superiority thing.
I will also note, their one big US “news source” is usually CNN .

If the black community wants to listen to every other ethnic group in the country about why the black community is wrong that's fine. And as far as 'coming together' if they want to join with us to condemn black thugs burning down our cities, fine. We welcome them.
If on the other hand they want us to listen why it's OK to burn our cites and destroy our businesses because they're 'entitled' I want them to remember Emmett Till. In the Jim Crow south white thugs felt so entitled to their outrage that Emmett Till was beaten to death for a 'crime' that was nothing more than a bunch of white racists feeling 'dissed'.
Ask yourself...
How would the black community feel if white Americans saw a black man beating a white man in a nursing home, then felt entitled to burn down the black community? Take law into our own hands like they're doing? Yes, that's the equivalent.
The black community needs to condemn the thugs burning our cities.
We have laws to handle these types of situations.
Laws that should have held back the killers of Emmet Til years ago, laws that should have held back the rioters today. The killer cop will face our legal system period.
The black thug who beat the white man in a nursing home will face our legal system. We are NOT allowed to burn down the black community because we've been insulted by a black thug beating up an innocent white person. We can't loot store in the black community when a black cop kills a white criminal either.
Think about it.
The black community owes the rest of us an apology... they need to listen to us for once... hear someone other than their own voices.

I’m not Canadian (but I live in Florida!) so I could certainly be wrong, but that’s my impression.
World sh!thole mouthing off about how we don't have the kinds of socialist utopias they ran away from or the muddled parlimentarist systems they left to come here. And it's not just Third Worlders,it's Russians, Ukrainians, Brits(real nasty) Greeks. We're being turned into Motel 6 for the whole world.
