This reminds me of Congressman Leo Ryan going to Jonestown to investigate Jim Jones and the People’s Temple rumors. He enters as a investigator and by the time the Jim Jones Celebration Dinner is over he is a pandering instigator of the virtues of “this great exercise” happening in Jonestown.
