I never defended Floyd.
The issue is the civil rights — not of a black man, but of any citizen whatsoever.
Once you are in police custody they have an affirmative duty to take care of you.
So if you call 911 cause someone’s breaking down your door, and the cops decide to stop at Dunkin Donuts first, you or your next of kin cannot sue them.
But once you are in custody, they are responsible.
And Mr. Kneecap is on (unedited, live, from six feet away) film,
keeping his knee on the neck of a handcuffed guy
when he says he can’t breathe
when he passes out
when his fellow cop says, hey, he doesn’t have a pulse
The term in Minnesota Law which fulfills 3rd degree murder is not intent, but Depraved Indifference.
For a trained, 19-year-veteran first responder to not do CPR on a man in cuffs, when his own parter just told him the guy has no pulse, fits that to a T.
No matter what caused his heart to stop.
Oh...well let's just forget Floyd was falling down jacked up on drugs/booze and incoherent while in the process of running from the crime he just committed.....and then resisting arrest. Further Already established he did not die from asphyxiation... So now what rights wasn't he given exactly?
And just BTW, Mister Floyd was a dead man walking, er, staggering, er being fragged, uh, being perp walked ... the malignant indifference of the entire pack of cops is deserving of massive non-violent protests. But the arrival of the antifa and the criminal looters (two different groups) has spit on the real issue that needs to be dealt with, that the police in our big cities are not supported properly and definitely not given enough 'human interaction' training. And the amount of anarchy now spewing forth will defer the real issues from being addressed in meaningful ways.
The Israelis used to use Ruger 1022s to place 40 grain lead pellets in the lower backs and bellies of rioters. Those rifles had barrel integrated suppressor capabilities. We need some of that action in a few of our big cities. A good spotter can id who needs a donation.
Good work defending the "Rule of Law".. intelligent POV to say the least.
Stop defending a dead meth head, he chose poorly. and you are a fool to keep pushing your angry uneducated narrative. yes, i said it you are a fool and uneducated or just plan ignorant.
