The city of San Jose announced Sunday a citywide curfew will be enacted after days of protests against the killing of George Floyd.
The curfew will go into effect Sunday from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will last for the next seven days or until further notice, a statement by the city explained.
Mayor Sam Liccardo, City Manager Dave Sykes and San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia will host a press conference at 5 p.m. today.
We just received an emergency alert informing us of this new order. I looked into it and I found it somewhat humorous that the homeless are exempt from the order. Makes sense, I guess.

Funny (not funny) how the homeless were exempt from the Wuhan Flu orders, and now these orders, too.
Homeless, undocumented, and other desireables exempt, of course.

Why do they even implement a curfew when they do not do anything to you if you violate. I have seen plenty of these riot/protests that go past curfew with looting and they do nothing.
Dems own the state. They have gov on down to dogcatcher. They have national guard. Everything they need and will get.
Blacks get a pass, need their votes. Let the state burn. Let the left devour the left. Deputize the illegal aliens.

What can be expected when the mayor joins the rioters and even “takes a knee” to demonstrate his solidarity with them????!!! So now after he promoted the insurrection, 1,100,000 people are locked down with his damned “curfew” ( yes, All damned dictators treat their slaves like children- and that’s when they’re in a good mood). 180 square miles of once- citizens now incarcerated in their homes. “The capitol of Silly- Con Valley is being rendered uninhabitable by the violent Soroznazi street thugs and their collaborator the mayor of San Jose. It’s time for people — and business- to get the hell out!

I hope they destroy the cities in the Democrat-run States. I live in New York State, and I hope they destroy NY City. I just feel bad for the Conservative people who had nothing to do with any of this, but have lost their businesses and livelihoods. Liberal businesses can crash and burn for all I care. They deserve what they get.

I have a black Christian friend who is blind. He wanted to know what I saw in the video of Mr. Floyd’s death. I told him that a white cop brutally killed Mr. Floyd. As I cried about what I witnessed, my friend held me and prayed for the police officer. He prayed for his salvation. He begged Jesus to save this man from hell. I’d die for my friend. We must always remember, we are all GOD’s children. I fear for my grandkids. We live in a wicked world.
