Don't lie. I watched the video. He never threatened her, all he wanted was for her to obey the law.
She falsely accused him of threatening her. There should be some kind of punishment for that ands since the police are not interested in following up on a charge of making a false report, I consider loss of job to be the next best thing.
When a false report is made to police, or witnesses lie, or the cops use fake evidence, or the DA does or doesn’t disclose exculpatory evidence; all of them should be given the same sentence the wrongful accused would have been given if found guilty up to and including the death penalty.
This will stop most of the BS and wrongful convictions, false arrest and otherwise waste of time and loss of freedom.

No lie. Here is what the birdwatcher said happened.
ME: Look, if youre going to do what you want, Im going to do what I want, but youre not going to like it.
HER: Whats that?
ME [to the dog]: Come here, puppy!
HER: He wont come to you.
ME: Well see about that. . . . I pull out the dog treats I carry for just such intransigence. I didnt even get a chance to toss any treats to the pooch before Karen scrambled to grab the dog.
He says he is going to do something he wants that she’s not going to like. Then he calls the dog to feed it something. If you don’t see that as a threat to somehow feed the dog something bad or to grab it, you are very naive. He purposely makes threats to get people to leash their dogs. How do you not see that?
