ORLANDO, Fla. – Deputies were recovering from injuries, nightly curfews were issued and the cleanup of smashed store windows began Sunday around Florida after a night of unrest throughout the state's cities that followed protests in response to the death in Minneapolis of George Floyd, a black man who pleaded for air as a white police officer pressed a knee on his neck.
Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said an unnamed deputy was either stabbed or slashed in the neck and was taken to a hospital for treatment Saturday evening. A sheriff's office spokeswoman wouldn't comment on the deputy's condition Sunday morning.
In Tampa, protesters on Saturday night threw rocks at first responders, burglarized 40 businesses and set fire to a gas station and a sporting-clothes store at a shopping mall. A Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputy was injured when he was struck by a firework and another deputy was sent to the hospital after being hit in the back of the head by a hard object, the sheriff’s office tweeted.

Yeah, a lot of businesses were on life support after COVID and now the idiots have finished off more of them in their own community. I think they should have left the destruction and trash right where it was. You want to destroy your own town, you clean up the mess. They should have arrested the bused-in pro agitators and made them sweep up the streets. When there’s nowhere to buy things people need, because the stores were trashed, maybe these idiots would wake up. Unfortunately, there’s a good chance, considering how stupid they showed themselves to be, that they are too stupid to do so.

Store owners Inside their shops should have Had shotguns pointed at their storefronts. Anyone coming inside would be greeted with lead deterrent.
Hillsborough County has no curfew. City of Tampa has no curfew. Stuff was burned here last night. Gas station. Mall stores. Go to the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office website you’ll see nothing about the riots looting and destruction from last night. Just a picture of Chad Chronister and Covid 19 warnings. So the Soros-paid thugs will come here to continue what they can’t do in Orange County. Internet says riots planned for Hillsborough for tonight.

Yes. they are. Lake county rep Anthony Sabatini posted a pic of an AR-15 on twitter to warn these thugs what will await any “protestors” if they break into businesses there. The left went bonkers and complained to twitter but he did not get into trouble.
It is so hard for me to watch what they are doing in Philadelphia right now. What an image. All the police cars lined up and being demolished while stores are looted!
