The Chinese Government is not legitimate. It is a totalitarian ruthless dictatorship bent on world domination. It is the Enemy of all mankind.
Nixon was wrong. Carter was wrong. Clinton was wrong. Just about all our leaders had this romantic idea that if you act kindly toward communists they will reciprocate. Our Founding Fathers would probably have our presidents horse whipped for this insanity. To quote just one, “I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny against the mind of man.” - Thomas Jefferson
I had not heard that quote. President Jefferson was a very wise man.
