Irvington NJ (next to Newark) got to a point where they couldn’t even gas their police cars; there were no more “Joe Taxpayers”...

Just about all the stories in FR today are about the riots. And none of the revelers are social distancing.
What all the riots have in common:
Dem Senators
Dem Representatives
Dem Governors
Dem Mayors
Dem Police Commissioners
Dem Rioters.
Dem Arsonists
Georgia has a GOP governor, although Atlanta is a Dem controlled city.
ATL has a long way to go before it gets to be like Irvington, NJ.
A few dozen of those nice communities and high rise condos going up in flames might change that though.
This is NOT a riot. It is a Biden rally in full effect, demonstrating normal Democrat celebratory behavior. I’m not sure yet whether it’s a campaign rally, an anticipatory primary victory celebration (he actually still doesn’t have the necessary delegates), or a November/December victory celebration.
Why, might you ask? Remember: last quadrennium, at the Democrat convention, they actually celebrated these sorts of events. Well, it’s that time in the political cycle again, and Democrats are primed for victory parties like these. They’re demonstrating Democrat values, and they have much to celebrate: the shuttering of churches for months all across America, outlawing and ruination of the free-market economy, more millions of babies killed in abortion, government spending that only a true Communist could embrace.
yeah....you know L.A. is just itchin to show em how to do it.

Atlanta is one of the most corrupt cities in America.
The last couple of mayoral administrations have stolen millions from taxpayers.
Definitely; NJ within the past few years lost the Mercedes headquarters to Atlanta.
Atlanta now has to make sure they want to stay.
I guess it all depends on if this evil mayor ATL has loves cash & power more than the BLM ‘cause’.

feels like 1968 again... Trump has an opportunity again to claim the ‘law and order’ mantle... his base not on the city streets, but watching on TV.
For some reason when this began I kept remembering the scene in Woody Allen’s movie Bananas where the reporter said the coming assassination of the leader was preceded by the customary two weeks of “colorful riots.”

The one at the police station with the actual fireworks would have made a great TV episode. So bright. And the action shots of police running home to mama.
And the actual morons of CNN being arrested was worth paying
for a pay per view.
I think the affectedness, the phoniness of the crowd sentiment is showing through. I doubt they care about blacks. Just Commies who hate Trump and our America. And rioters who want to steal smartphones , pharmacy drugs , big TVs and other products working people would have paid for through earnings.
Sanford and Son had an episode where Fred nagged Lamont to buy him a color TV (the new thing). “Son, Bill Henderson got a color TV for his father. Why not me?”
Lamont: “Aw, pop. You know he got that TV during the riots.”
Ratings will go down if people at home can’t see something more visually interesting after big fires on the screen and that great fireworks touch. A bunch of demonstrators with Soros placards is soooooo boring for TV. News will go back to censorship court battles over Twitter. Not good TV.

#Breaking: NYPD source informs me 88 Pct in Brooklyn just been overrun.
Police Commissioner Shea has called a Level 3 mobilization.
Requires all special units respond and four cars from every command in the city to location.
84 Pct under siege, as well. Also, Brooklyn North.
I see at least as many white rioters as black ones; this is a class & generational thing, not racial. Race is just the excuse.
