I once attended a sporting event at a stadium in Korea, and was surprised to see everyone carry out their own trash when it ended. It’s a cultural thing.

Professional baseball games in Japan hands every fan a trash bag filled with some advertising circulars which include some useful items like pens, magnets or clips coming in.
Usher type people go up and down the stands periodically throughout the game to collect trash passed their way.
There is very little to clean up when the game is over, but they do it anyway. Very pleasant experience.
That's what you can have when you don't import the third world.

I attended a very large conservative rally once, and after the rally there was a huge amount of trash: in the trash can areas.
