Politico took aim at Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in a report Friday, saying his "coronavirus halo" has begun to "fade."
"Two and a half months into the crisis, Cuomo’s take-charge attitude has begun to soften," Politico reporters Anna Gronewold and Erin Durkin wrote. "The governor, who gained legions of fans for his briefings that blended an authoritative tone with a personal touch, is increasingly on the defensive -- and casting blame on the federal government and its guidance."
Cuomo has been under increasing scrutiny for the controversial nursing home policy implemented in March that critics say is responsible for thousands of deaths among senior citizens in the state.

What halo?
I’ve seen reports that the infection rate for NYC was as high as 25%. Good thing they kept those subways running the whole time while the rest of the country was locked down.

I think that halo was torn off by himself when he ordered all of those infected people into nursing homes.
Cuomo pumped up himself as the Covid Jesus, anointed to save the Western world. When you build such tall pedestals for yourself, you’re gonna have a nasty fall.

No one has asked him where he got his hair cut and what “Licensed barber” did it. These Italians have their favorite barber....all their life.

I’ve never understood what the big deal was over his father, but this guy sure as hell isn’t anywhere near that. A lot of New Yorkers just aren’t as smart and savvy as they think they are.
