You have a few choices with a mob:
release a massive cloud of tear gas, multiple water cannons , or “whiff of the grape”.
Of course killing “unarmed” rioters is political suicide
And then there’s letting the rioters destroy and loot until their exhausted.
There is another choice. Let Americans defend their property.
The small business owner near these mobs has nothing to do with what happened here. The police on the other hand, have everything to do with what is happening here.

Run afoul of the law and see how your attitude toward the cops and the whole legal system we have here changes. The cops aren't much different then politicians and most of those are crooks.
Sure cops do lots of crappy work I would never want to do but lets not pretend we deep down all love and respect these guys - especially as you get old and run in the young cops and you can read these kids like a book.

Older cops are okay younger cops are dangerous now they are all on edge and its an us against them attidude - thats been more and more the culture since before Rodney King.
I try to like the cops, max as I know I should and hate is destructive but they don't make it easy -almost in any context professional or personal, most are just asshole jerks - go hang out with a bunch of them, go to a cop bar (when they reopen - oh wait the cop bar never closed).
Just look at the firefighters versus police football games they do in many places - who raises more money and has more fans? Team Red or Team Blue?
The problem is none of it stops the violence. Burning buildings and looting stores stops any sympathy for the events which happened....because they want to make it a racial issue ....every time. And these looters believe they are owed what they steal.

I have to wonder if the decision was made by leadership to just let the leftist goons burn down their neighborhood so there was nothing to come home to. Just a burned husk. The goons that weren’t from out of town would have no reason to stay so this bad element would move on to other cities and towns to destroy them at some future time.
