Protesters angered by the death of George Floyd, a handcuffed black man who died while in police custody, gained access to a Minneapolis police precinct on Thursday, the third straight night of violent protests spreading beyond the city.
Livestream video showed the protesters entering the building, where fire alarms blared and sprinklers ran as blazes were set.
Dozens of businesses across the Twin Cities were boarding up their windows and doors Thursday in an effort to prevent looting, with the Minneapolis-based Target announcing it was temporarily closing two dozen area stores. Minneapolis shut down nearly its entire light-rail system and all bus service through Sunday out of safety concerns.

Thanks for the info. Well there you have it. We all see a riot is in process but the news people are not allowed to call a spade a spade.
Obviously the police bailed earlier in the day with everything of value. My heart aches for those innocent who live there and are devastated by what is going on. I could not imagine the barbaric scum animals rioting as the police and the mayor evacuate saying FU to the citizens. Remember this is Omar’s district. WTF is the National Guard and State Police and if they are this inept POTUS Trump should send in muscle to stop the anarchy. At this point it is politically driven by the media and DNC forces. They think this is “protesting”. They are f-ing insane.

If its not peaceful, its not a protest. Its a destructive riot. Calling it a “protest” is another example of delusion masquerading as political correctness.

I may be weird but looters and arsonists need to be shot. Nothing is bad enough to cause all this. Most just go along with a crowd. Shoot a few and this nonsense would stop. They are criminals and should be treated as such. Some people have lost lifetime work.
Eh. I didn’t see a whole lot of action, and it wasn’t actually my or my family’s store. It belonged to a family friend and they had asked everyone they knew to send every male that could hold and use a rifle to come help. Not everyone on those rooftops was Korean - more than a few of us ethnic Mongolians and Chinese too. Lots of Vietnamese storekeepers in the area too, but none in my direct area. The meme ended up being Roof Koreans, though, because a majority of the shopkeepers that the media paid attention to were Korean.
