This is very bad behavior for a Republican. I’d kick him out of office in the primary if I were the Republican electorate.

I did not vote for him in the primary. He was John Kasich’s butt boy for years.
He was Kasich's chosen successor.
Sadly, Ohio is still run by Rockefeller Republicans.
