I myself wonder if Trump is actually going to hit the TV Station entities to report news rather than leftist programming under the guise of News programming. CNN is essentially a DNC Talk Show as is MSNBC.

I know. It's a self-inflicted wound to the reelection campaign and it's frustrating to those of us who want to see Trump reelected and who realize that it's going to be a tough campaign to begin with.
But it also aggravates some people and I need a hobby.
That’s the main thing. Getting Trump Reelected. Having him shut down social media sites is not going to help that, in fact it’ll put a whole lot of people off on him.

FB and Twitter and YouTube actively promote and certain pols and activist groups.
Unchecked bias on these publishing platforms for over a decade has lead to outright censoring and banning of conservatives ALL over the place not just on social media,to physical attacks on us on the streets in restaurants etc.

You miss the point, e.g., that programming called NEWS will disappear and become Talk Shows if the new broadcasting standards being proposed are mandated.
Networks that broadcast programs can have News Programming, but the current “News format” will become Talk Shows and no longer be called News. Even Fox will find themselves hard pressed to have a 30-minute segment called News Programming given their current presentation style.
You said government should not be censoring private industry. Twitter and FB are censoring on behalf of government already though..the left and the dems.

yes it makes sense. once you decide that one group of people are not worthy hearing and ban them you open the doors to doing other things to them like harassment and doxing, you don’t see how this escalates?

A lot of those followers are liberals who tweet the most vile things in response to Trump’s tweets. Hollywood losers tweet whatever the hell they want. The Trump tweet they censored and supposedly “fact checked” was actually accurate. There are numerous examples of voter mail fraud.
Hopefully come November you can say you told me so. Until then go back to sticking your head in the sand. Or other places.
