Rove has a good grasp of the technical aspects of campaigning. His advice about what to talk about is probably useless or counter productive. He would turn it into another G.W. Bush campaign. What did he ever talk about? The only thing I can recall is “compassionate conservatism”, a vague, abstract, essentially meaningless term. No gun rights, judges, abortion, border, Chinese destruction of our manufacturing base, etc.
Karl Rove would probably be good for getting campaign funds, building the infrastructure for a campaign. But the politics aspect, leave him out of that part.
