To: Alberta's Child

Okay, so forgive me for asking what his point was... Are we supposed to all think the same with regard to everything around us? No more consideration of welfare, immigration, and social issues? Should everyone go globalist? The guy sounds a bit like he’s given up on society.

But then you said he’s an HR type, and in my long experience HR professionals can be either very wishy-washy or cast iron convinced they know everything.

Still curious.

The focus of the presentation was on the changing nature of the modern work force. Basically, the old model of getting an education through childhood into young adulthood and then working at the same place -- or even in the same career -- is a thing of the past.

One of the results of this change is that education systems will have to be completely revolutionized to deal with this reality.
