As it happens, I remember all the details on the Sarah Palin polls over the year before she was chosen as backstabbing McCain’s VP running mate. Governor Palin had the highest popularity from in-state democrats among all Republican governors and US Senators. It’s only after the media’s (last successful) hatchet job that Palin was inaccurately perceived as something far less. It’s a shame too. She could have been a great leader - if she hadn’t gotten tired of the far-left media slime and the lack of support from RINOs.
