Apologist? Why apologize for embracing Christianity?
Right. I’ve never like the term “apologist” for being an advocate for anything. As if there was something that required an apology.
Definition of apologist
: one who speaks or writes in defense of someone or something
so it’s more like defender of the faith
It derives from the Greek word ἀπολογία, meaning "give defense" and Latin word Apologia, meaning to "give an answer."
And Ravi was one of the best at it. Look at some of the videos on YouTube of him speaking at college and university campuses.
