I have spent quite a bit of time in and around ERs and Operating rooms.

I never heard anyone, in the table or around the table, talk politics.

And when you are looking at a surgeon at 9 pm on a Sunday night telling you they are going to “do their best”, you don’t ask their politics.

Aside from FR, I don’t see it that much in the real world.
