Greenie car manufacturer Elon Musk, who has 34 million Twitter followers, has effectively told them all to go vote for President Trump, using a popular vernacular:

Fox News calls that a 'cryptic' tweet, but I suspect that's some leftist headline writer's doing, because the story itself indicates the writer knows perfectly well what is going on:
"Take the red pill" is a line from the popular 1999 movie “The Matrix” about seeking the unvarnished truth: "You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes."
More recently, it's been slang for people abandoning the ways of liberalism for the values of conservatism. People of all ages and ethnicities posted online videos describing "red pill moments" — personal awakenings that have caused them to reject leftist narratives imbibed since childhood from friends, teachers, and the news and entertainment media.
Leftists of all stripes bellowed their displeasure about this tweet, none more loudly than the movie industry people who created the original story. After all, it's their movie script line has become a rallying cry to 'join the conservatives' even though that wasn't their intention - and the analogy described by Fox is particularly interesting, given that Democratic standard-bearer Joe Biden wants everything to go back to the pre-Trump era (except more leftish), which is perfectly analogous with the blue pill, while Musk himself is famous for enjoying deep dives into the unknown, same as the red pill. The Tesla founder definitely thought that tweet through before he posted it.

Speaking of red and blue, does anyone remember when, during election night TV coverage, the GOP was always blue and the Dems red? When did that change? It was obviously a concerted, agreed-upon switch by the media, for obvious reasons. I can’t remember when I first noticed it, but it may well coincide with the media dropping all pretense of disinterest.
Of course the deaths that occurred as a result of this virus are terrible.
Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I think a number of good things will come of it also.
The whole country gets to see what dems really are.
And that could sway as many as 5 percent of the voters towards Rs.
That’s a lot in an election.
I Know only one person who has lost a close one to the virus. Because the person was older doesn’t make the death easier. And I am sorry for the losses.
But I do think quite a bit of good can come of the whole episode.
Maybe making those deaths not in vain.

Not sure how I feel about Musk. Sure, I like the way he’s talking now, but I didn’t like the way he libeled one of the rescuers of that Thai soccer team.
What you mean is that you are a careful buyer that does not allow all decisions to be made on the basis of sanctimonious self righteous politics.
But....... do you drive the Tesla to church?
I am still a skeptic of Musk. He has always been all in on getting that gubmit money. He can see that it is likely Trump will be reelected. Musk wants gubmit money for SpaceX. He probably wants gubmit tax credits = free money to relocate his plant in some state like TX.
Futurist who get Trump being a radical innovator like he is. Are they hedging their bets that the likes of a Biden / Obama minions returing has them in the same situation that Gates was in in the spring of 2000 with El-Renyo going after him at Justice Dept, they can't have that, their more Liberitarian than DNC-ish so the closest thing is PDJT. They also know big Data/Social Media is about to get a colonoscopy from Barr and my guess is they are looking for a hall pass as to not get one.
Elon is talking about his next battery being good for 1,000,000 miles and guaranteed for it w/ some hints of greater range that are undisclosed. If he cuts charge times (that is the real game now IMHO) then the EV revolution is here, & POTUS can springboard to infrastructure / current & Gen 3 & 4 nuclear to be it's backbone. I have posted in depth here before, but do your own due diligence on POTUS / Senate comittee work (Murkowski) on Nuclear Power, Nuclear Fuel re-emergence American Sourced, Rare Earths (especially in Alaska), and a Lithium supply chain. If you step back and take a look at it, how can you not say holy smokes, someone is thinking 5, 10, 15, 20 yrs out....

I have little ides how things will turn out politically in the USA, other then POTUS, Donald J. Trump will be elected by a massive landslide victory!!! Trump has save the country, the USA and its freedom, liberty, opportunity, equality, justice, and individualism..period.
Now for Obama, Biden, Pelosi, etc. IMHO...they should all be arrested by USMC personnel and then be court martialed for being open Traitors and Turncoats to the USA Nation Republic!!! And then they should receive justice as haded out by a military court trail...whatever that might be!!!
