Was there anybody in the federal government that wasn’t participating in this coup attempt? I can’t see how we can fix our Republic unless we fire every single federal employee from the heads of departments down to the janitors, permanently ban them from any future federal employment, close several departments completely, and start all over.
Yes, term limits for elected officials is not enough. We must have term limits for employment by the federal gov’t....perhaps double the political limit of 12 years.
Elected officials should not be allowed to jump around from elected office to elected office to avoid being limited out. They should be restricted to 24 years of elected office.
Federal employees should be limited to 24 years working anywhere in the federal gov’t. Changing agencies does not reset the clock.
After 24 years, you are not eligible to work in gov’t. You must go to the private sector.

I can't see firing everyone down to the janitor (I'm sure that's rhetorical) but I get the point. That's why I've maintained that every single politician in Washington DC needs to be shown the door, as you said barred from any future political office, and new blood, PEOPLE OF INTEGRITY, be allowed to take their places.
