Dr. Jayanta Bhattacharya, a professor of medicine at Stanford University, just defied the liberal media to speak out and say that people are mistaken if they actually think coronavirus lockdown policies are keeping people safe from COVID-19.
Bhattacharya, who recently led the largest COVID-19 antibody study in the U.S., carried out tests on staff members of 27 Major League Baseball teams to figure out how much coronavirus has already spread. Based on the results of this and prior research of his, Bhattacharya has concluded that lockdowns are not a good thing and may even be causing further harm.
I think in the back of peoples heads there is this idea that somehow we can eradicate this disease if we just stay locked down... the epidemic is too widespread to eradicate.
He added that he believes the lockdowns may have not moved the population toward elimination of the virus, but instead just delayed the spread. The doctor thinks that as a result, when lockdowns are finally lifted, COVID-19 will spread again.
There is no safe option, Bhattacharya said. If you think that having a lockdown will provide you safety, you are mistaken. Because the problem is this lockdown has had enormous negative effects on the health of people in the United States and around the world.
Remember, this lockdown B$ has never been about improving your health nor our families’ health.
It is/has been about taking away our rights and controlling us, with us paying for this B$ with our tax dollars to control us. Finally to defeat President Trump this November.
